Homework March 10th
Dear Parents,
I have returned the unit test to the class. There were some happy faces and some sad faces. As a whole, the class did well. I had a two students with 99 %. However, there weren't any 100 %. Some students didn't do well because they weren't able to finish this test within the given period. I would say the test was rather long and we will shorten the next unit test. Many students needed more time to finish it and not that they didn't know how to write the test. I have asked students to get signatures from their parents as part of today's homework. Please do not worry if they didn't do well on this test. It is a learning process for Grade 1 to take any tests and work on their time management. We will be working on building many of these skills to help improve their test scores and learning development.
For today's homework, please sign the unit test and return it to me tomorrow. And make your own sentences from production words (# 1,2, 7, 8 and 9) in their communication books.
