Welcome Back to Ms. Shum's Super Second Grade Class!

Due to the typhoon, we will be having our first vocabulary review test tomorrow.  Please come to school promptly as we will begin our exams on time.  I have asked all students to bring home their notebook,  text book, and worksheets to review for all upcoming examinations.  Therefore,  there is no homework  for today except to study for the test!!  First Exam Test Scope – Weeks 1 & 4 Hello Parents, First grade will have their Final Exam on October 1 st – October 6 th Please note the scheduled test dates:  l   The Vocabulary Review T est will be on Thursday, October 1st l   The Oral T est will be on Friday, October 2 nd and Monday, October 5 th .   l   The Listening T est will be on Friday, October   2nd and Monday, October 5 th . l   The Written Test will be on Tuesday, October 6 th .  The test will cover the following VOCABULARY : Review Communication Book pages 2 , 4, 6, 8,  from Week 1~ 4. Dear Parents, I would like to begin by saying "Happy Moon Festival!"  Yeah, our long weekend has begun!  Also,  I would like to say a big thank to all parents for the well wishes and presents for Teacher's day and Moon Festival..  I will be chomping away and enjoying the full moon with my family. Yum yum and lucky me!! For this weekend's homework,  I have assigned the following: 1.  Review Reading Street Stories :  Ruby in her own Time and A Place to Play. 2.  Do Worksheets from Ruby in her own Time page 5 - 6 and 12. Please note:  I have posted the Testing Scope for reviewing the 1st Exams. First exam will be held during on 9/29 – 10/06 .
