Welcome Back to Ms. Shum's Super Second Grade Class!

Dear Parents, Today is the last the day of the semester.  As you may know already,  it is a half day at school.  All students are out by 12:00.  For  winter break,  I have assigned all students to do their reader's and writer's notebook.  They will have to do the Unit 4:  A Trip to Washington, D.C.  The pages are p. 441 - 456, except 444 and 448.  We will be having a Unit test on the week when they return from their winter break. Also,  I have asked all students to get a copy of this story book,  Magic Tree House,  Dinosaur before Dark. This book can be purchased at many places such at Eslite bookstore and Caves bookstore or ordered from  www.books.com.tw.  Currently, Caves book store is having a winter break book sale.  I  highly encourage parents to bring their kids to the bookstores to pick up some books that they can read for the break.  We will start our Magic Tree House chapter book reading on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when they return from winter break.
